The DoubleTree by Hilton, Richmond Airport is approximately 2 miles from the Richmond International Airport. There is  a free shuttle both ways. Our special room rate is $145.00 per night, plus taxes: applicable from September 29th through October 4, 2026. This hotel rate provides for single kings or double queens. There is a parking fee at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Richmond Airport of $10.00 per stay. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

It is important that you book your hotel room reservations on or before August 8, 2026! This will help WFS assess turnout and give WFS the opportunity to plan other activities. Later reservations may be subject to availability. Hotel reservations must be completed no later than September 8, 2026. Reservation cancellations must be received by DoubleTree by Hilton, Richmond Airport at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to avoid being charged one night’s room and taxes.

We will tour parts of the Hardware River Valley where earlier members of the Wingfield family settled south of Charlottesville. Day tour also includes a visit to two Wingfield properties, one includes an old Wingfield family cemetery, and Ivy Creek United Methodist Church ($80 per person).
